# SIP Goal Planner (Branded for Your Clients)

> Make a branded SIP goal plan for your client: future cost of a goal, monthly SIP needed and a WhatsApp-ready card with your name, ARN and the AMFI disclaimer.

Work out the **monthly SIP** your client needs for a goal, then share a **branded card** on WhatsApp with your photo, name, ARN and the mandatory mutual fund disclaimer.

## How the goal plan is worked out

1. **Future cost:** today's cost grows with inflation. Education costs in India have been rising at 8% to 10% a year.
2. **What is already saved** grows at the expected return and is subtracted from the future cost.
3. **Monthly SIP:** the planner finds the SIP that grows to the remaining amount by the goal date, with an optional yearly step-up.

```
Future cost = Cost today × (1 + inflation)^years
```

## Why a branded card works

Clients act on a clear number. A card that says "₹12,400 a month for your daughter's education" with your photo and number gets saved, forwarded to the spouse and remembered, unlike a link to a generic calculator. It also reminds them who to call when they are ready to start.

## Compliance built in

- Your **ARN** and "AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor" are printed on every card. The card will not share until you add your ARN.
- The standard warning "Mutual Fund investments are subject to market risks, read all scheme related documents carefully" is added automatically.
- The assumed return and inflation are printed, and returns are marked as not guaranteed.
- No scheme names or return promises appear on the card.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is it allowed for a mutual fund distributor to share such illustrations?

Distributors can share educational illustrations. They should show their ARN, carry the standard mutual fund risk warning and must not promise returns. The card adds your ARN and the warning automatically and states the assumed return clearly.

### Which return should I assume?

Use a conservative long-term figure, such as 10% to 12% for equity-oriented goals of 7 years or more and lower for shorter goals or debt funds. The card always prints the assumption so your client knows it is not guaranteed.

### What does step-up SIP do here?

With a yearly step-up the client starts with a smaller SIP and raises it each year, for example by 10% with salary hikes. The planner finds the lower starting SIP that still reaches the goal.

### Where is my data stored?

Your branding and client figures stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
