Resize Photo to KB for Exam Forms

Make your photo fit the exact KB limit and pixel size that online application forms ask for, such as 20–50 KB for SSC or 200 × 230 px for IBPS. Your photo never leaves your phone.

How to resize a photo for an exam form

  1. Read the photo rules in your notification: maximum and minimum KB, pixel size or cm size, and background colour.
  2. Tap Choose a photo. A recent photo with a plain white or light background works best.
  3. Pick the KB limit and the dimensions. Use "Crop to fill" so your face fills the frame without white bars.
  4. Check the result size, then tap Download JPG and upload it to the form.

Frequently asked questions

How do I reduce photo size to 20 KB?
Choose your photo, tap the 20 KB button and pick the pixel size your form asks for. The tool finds the best quality that stays under 20 KB. Tap Download JPG.
What photo size do SSC and IBPS forms need?
Requirements change between notifications. IBPS and SBI forms have commonly asked for 200 × 230 px, 20–50 KB. SSC has asked for a 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo of 20–50 KB taken through its own app or upload. Always follow the current notification.
My photo becomes too small in KB. How do I make it bigger?
If the form has a minimum (for example 20 KB) and your result is below it, choose larger dimensions such as the 300 dpi option. Larger pictures have more detail and a bigger file size.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. All resizing happens inside your browser on your own device. The photo is not sent to our server.
Which format should I use?
Almost every Indian government form accepts JPG/JPEG, so the tool always saves as JPG.
