Frequently asked questions

Which Saturdays are bank holidays in India?
Banks in India are closed on the second and fourth Saturday of every month, and on all Sundays. Choose 'Bank (2nd & 4th Saturday off)' to use this rule.
Are public holidays included?
Holidays differ by state and company, so add yours in the holidays box, one date per line (for example 2026-11-08). The calculator skips them if they fall on a working day.
Is the start date counted?
Yes, both the start and end dates are counted if they are working days. Untick 'Count the start date' to begin counting from the next day.
How do I find a delivery or settlement date?
Switch to 'Add working days', enter the start date and the number of working days, for example 5. The calculator jumps over weekends and your holidays.
